About us
Amicus TransTec Limited was founded by Doug Lawrence, a veteran of the translation industry. After holding positions in the world's largest translation tool provider Trados, and some of the industry's leading translation companies, including Berlitz, SimulTrans and Conversis, Lawrence identified a need for a new type of translation software tools provider. Together with a team of like minded translation experts Lawrence formed Amicus TransTec.
The Amicus TransTec team developed the Selling Translations® programme to help their translation company clients to:
- defend or increase their sales revenues, and
- feel more at ease when selling
Typically Sales Courses are based on a central theme that is applied in a general sense, making them less relevant and therefore less useful. Selling Translations® is a broad term to encompass the courses, consulting and methods we use to ensure translation companies improve their sales results. Whether our delegates are project managers, senior managers or sales people - we help them to enhance their sales skills, fulfil their potential and exceed their targets.
